Pain threshold levels depend on the individual.  I use a topical numbing cream to help with the pain.  Keep in mind that this is not completely pain free experience and that stinging or scratching feeling may be felt.

Permanent Make-up is also known as Cosmetic Tattooing.  However it is NOT the same as a body tattoo.  I use pigments that are designed to fade naturally out of the skin over 1-2 years. This is to avoid discolouration of the permanent make-up.

Permanent Make-up lasts anywhere between 8 months to 3 years depending on what treatment you receive and the condition of your skin.

When your permanent make-up/ cosmetic Tattoo begins to fade you will need to come back and see me to get your colour refresh. O n average this is done every 1-2 years.  You wil know when your cosmetic tattoo needs to be refreshed as the colour will be very light.  You must still be able to see the shape of the cosmetic tattoo to have it classed as a refresh rather than a whole new treatment.

Although it may not be visible, the skin takes 6 weeks to fully heal. B y wiating 6 weeks we won't damage the skin and we will also be able to see the true result of the healed permanent make-up after 1 treatment. T his is important Sowetans know exactly what to correct and what to leave alone.

95% of clients will experience dryness or flakiness on your permanent make-up.  When your permanent make-up desqumates, it will appear patchy and light in colour.  This is because the flakes of skin are taking off oxidised pigment that is much darker than the ideal healed colour.  The skn underneath is new, healed skin that will be opaque.  After 2-3 weeks, this skin will show back through as the healed skin becomes clear. A ny patchiness left will be perfected at the 6 week touch up.
